ARCONA: FROM NETAVERSE TO METAREALITY

Back in 2017, when we started, the term "Metaverse" was understandable and described innovative concepts like Arcona and Decentraland.

But over time, especially after major corporate announcements, the word became synonymous with VR games and closed virtual worlds. Hundreds of projects called themselves "metaverses," diluting the original meaning.

We at Arcona realized our core concept is different. We don't create an alternative reality to "escape" into. We are migrating to Metareality.

What's the key difference?

Metaverse (often): A closed virtual world offering an escape from reality. Focused on VR.

Metareality: A digital layer within the real world. Integration with reality, not isolation from it. Focused on AR (augmented reality).

What is Arcona Metareality?

It's the concept of a digital, magical AR layer integrated with our physical world.

We use augmented reality (AR) to enrich, supplement, and transform the space around you. You remain part of reality but gain access to its new, digital dimension.

Why is this important?

Our focus on AR fundamentally distinguishes us. We are not limited by virtual boundaries. Our platform can work with reality itself.

A Vision Extending Beyond Earth

This is precisely why our ambition extends far beyond our planet. The "Step to Mars" initiative isn't just a themed event.

It's the first step in demonstrating that Arcona Metareality can be deployed anywhere—on Mars, on the Moon, throughout the Solar System! 🪐🚀 After all, our AR layer is suitable for any planet, any surface.

There's an element of fun in this, but also a serious reminder: we work with reality, wherever it may be found.

Join us at Arcona to build and explore the future of Metareality—the digital layer that will change our perception of the world.
